Error 2105: "Unhandled Error is Silverlight Application" with a non-silverlight unit test class

May 25, 2011 at 2:12 AM

I do have multiple unit test classes. Some are Silverlight 4 classes and some are regular VB test class. Before installing agUnit i could run the test on VB ones and couldnt run any tests on silverlight ones. Now that I installed this plug-in I am able to run the tests on Silverlight test projhects projects but when I want to run the tests on the regular VB.NET unit test project I get the following error:

Unhandled Error in Silverlight Application

Code: 2105

Category: InitializeError

Message: Failed to load pre-requisites for the application

I dont understand why should I get a silverlight error message on a regular VB.NEt unit test project. Can you please help me?

Thanks,

Aidin

Hi Aidin,

This is a known issue with AgUnit.
I'll see what I can do to fix this in the next version.

For now I suggest disabling the MSTest or AgUnit plugins in the ReSharper properties window when necessary.
Or going back to the silverlight unit test framework runner ...

I normally use another framework to write my tests on the .NET CLR: NUnit, xUnit, ...

Greetings,

Steven
